The nervous system is struggling to support your health.  This program is designed to begin the process of increasing resilience in your life, the ability to fight off illnesses quickly, cope better with everyday stresses, and feel more positive and engaged with your life.

Who Is The Nervous System Reset designed for?

The Nervous System Reset is a unique blend of massage, psychotherapy, and the latest neuroscience designed for people experiencing chronic pain and conditions such as migraines, TMJ, muscular, arthritis, chronic exhaustion, anxiety and depression.  If physical therapies have not been effective and talk therapy feels overwhelming, then it's very likely that your nervous system is struggling to support your health.

As well as a bodyworker, I’m a psychotherapist, but we don’t talk about trauma directly in these sessions, instead, we find a technique, specific to you, to discharge it with a blend of talk and body therapy. Traditional talk therapy requires the cognitive/thinking brain to be resilient enough to explore difficult feelings and emotions, which is often why people become stuck with the process - their nervous system does not feel safe and shuts down the thinking part of the brain. Instead, this treatment is designed to provide a pathway to remove the ‘locked-in’ energy of trauma from the nervous system and the body.

What to expect.

As a result of this form of bodywork, you may well find yourself drifting off into a state of semi-sleep, which is the ideal state for your nervous system to ‘reset’ itself. Many clients describe feeling lighter, as if a weight has been lifted.  Often, there is a sense of relief and freedom.  This is because the body is free of holding patterns and tension experienced for years.  There may be noticeable changes in how you move, feel, think and breathe after your session, and in time, with regular sessions, these pattern changes will become part of your life.

We begin this program with a minimum of 4 weekly sessions.  This starts the process of adapting to the changes experienced during and in between sessions. Following this, we will discuss your progress and plan your next steps.  You can continue NSR treatments, take a break, or continue to explore with a different treatment path with me.

After several NSR sessions, you may notice an increased resilience in your life.  You may notice you fight off illnesses quickly, cope better with everyday stresses, and generally feel more positive.

How to book.

I will always require a pre-treatment consultation to discuss if it's the right treatment for you and to answer any questions. Call or message me to arrange this. Once this is completed, you can book directly with me or via my website
